If you’ve read my last review on the Everdrive 64 you’ll know that it’s arguably the best Nintendo 64 flash cart available and now it’s about to get even better.

There’s an ongoing discussion over at the discussion boards on Krikzz’s website about Nintendo 64 Disk Drive (64DD) games that have been dumped to rom files and have been modified in order to run on the Everdrive 64. Currently, you’ll need to install a custom OS on the Everdrive 64, but that is as simple as copying a few files to the SD card.

I’m looking forward to seeing more progress from this as well as playing the F-Zero X Expansion that I’ve been missing out on for the last 15 years.
